Burtonwood Heritage Centre

The RAF Burtonwood Heritage Centre is situated at Gulliver’s World, itself located on part of the RAF Burtonwood Airbase. Admission to the Heritage Centre is free, we are a donation based charity.

We’re delighted to confirm the return to our regular General Public opening hours of:

Weds-Sun - 14:30-17:00

We look forward to welcoming both old and new visitors into the Centre and continuing to keep the memory alive. Visits outside of these opening hours can be requested and arranged, by contacting John, on the following email address:

Group Educational Visits

RAF Burtonwood Heritage Centre provide groups with an educating adventure, allowing you to discover what it was like to live during the war. 

The visit will include lots of fun exhibits to explore and interesting talks by the centre's curator. Rates from only £9.95 per child.

Burtonwood Heritage Centre

WINTER OPENING HOURS

The Heritage Centre will be closed until 27th November for our Christmas preparations. However, we are very pleased to announce that, for the first time, the Heritage Centre will be opening in December. Our winter opening hours will be as follows:

  • 27th & 28th November
  • 3rd, 4th & 5th December
  • 10th,11th & 12th December
  • 17th, 18th & 19th December

We will then be closed for our usual winter maintenance work from 20th December 2021 to 19th February 2022. (Our normal opening hours will resume after this).
